Academi Croeso aims to transform the tourism and hospitality sectors through a dynamic Hub and Spoke model that will create new training opportunities and support the growth of the tourism and hospitality sectors in North Wales.
It will achieve this through investment in a Hub and Spoke model, bringing together a state-of-the-art training Hub at the GLlM Rhos-on-Sea Campus focusing on the delivery of Level 1 to Level 6 qualifications within the tourism and hospitality sector, and a regional network of training Spokes based at leading regional private sector businesses.

Together, the Hub and Spokes will ensure widespread access to resources and opportunities by creating a campus across North Wales that supports the region’s three main tourism offerings: Heritage, Language & Culture, the Great Outdoors, and Food & Hospitality, driving sector transformation through a cross-cutting focus on sustainability, digitalisation and innovation and place (regional culture, language and landscape).

This project is part funded by the region’s Growth Deal which is delivered by Ambition North Wales. The North Wales Growth Deal is an agreement that will generate a total investment of over £1 billion in the region’s economy, £240m of which is funded by the Welsh Government and UK Government.
